If you have not already visited our current exhibition, La Reconquista, come by and see Einar and Jamex de la Torre’s new work. From the Aztecs and Spaniards to the prevalence of dollar stores and Mexican food, this new mixed media installation simultaneously explores historical and contemporary ideas of conquest.
Pho’zole, also by Einar and Jamex de la Torre, explores ideas of cultural exchange and food. This uniquely de la Torre installation based on Mexican and Vietnamese stews, incorporates material culture and humor into its presentation.

“Mexico Extravaganza” integrates elements of music, dance, poetry, and cultural icons to portray the richness of Mexican folklore.
Ballet folklorico, singers, spoken word performers, actors, visual artists and music will be showcased. Featured acts include: Ensambles ballet Folklorico de San Francisco, Mamacoatl, Maggi de Leon, and Enrique Oliver.
