- 3/4 Panel discussion: Birth as Feminist Practice
- 3/4 Lecture: Women and Social Movements in San Jose
- 3/10 Film: A Sense of Wonder
- 3/17 Panel: What Every Girl Needs to Know About the U.S. Military
The first two events were videotaped and are available here – you must have RealPlayer to watch, which you can download here free
Our 2009 poster (at right) included artwork from the San Francisco Women’s Building Mural, titled Maestrapeace. The mural was completed in 1994 as the culmination of a multi-cultural, multi-generation collaboration of seven women artists including Juana Alicia, Miranda Bergman, Edythe Boone, Susan Kelk Cervantes, Meera Desai, Yvonne Littleton and Irene Perez, and many helpers. We appreciate the artists’ support for our program and their sharing of this beautiful artwork. Learn more about the mural here.
